Cons: control, efficiency

Vittas: With the exception of one dominating start against Cal State Fullerton, it has been a rocky junior season for Drossner. The Pennsylvania lefty has bounced around to many different roles, as walks and efficiency continue to be an issue. However, it is important to note that Drossner led the 2014 Super Regional Terps in ERA and only walked 23 batters in 62.1 innings. With three plus pitches and an ideal starting pitcher’s frame, Drossner is an intriguing prospect if he can find his form from last year.

Lewis: The biggest key is and will continue to be command of his three plus offerings.  He has the size and stuff that scouts can dream on, whether it be his fastball in the low 90s or his plus downer breaking ball. But can Drossner command it throughout his outings? There was a spurt during this season where Drossner was dominant in relief and then threw a gem against nationally-ranked Cal St Fullerton. But can he harness that and repeat those quality outings on a more consistent basis? If so, you have a top-10 round talent with potential to start at the professional level.
