The Terps took part in their final full practice in College Park Tuesday, practicing for two hours at Shipley Field. The team will have a brief workout before flying to Los Angeles on Wednesday, where they will complete their preparation for this weekend’s regional.
Maryland basketball coach Mark Turgeon and his staff stopped by to wish Coach Szefc and the players luck in the Tournament:
Coach Turgeon once played point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks and made sure to chat with Tim Lewis, a Kansas native.
After practice, John Szefc and the players met with the media. Several news outlets turned out to get one last chance to interview the Terps.
The Maryland Baseball Network will be broadcasting the games live from Los Angeles this weekend. For all the latest on what the Terps are up to, make sure to follow MBN’s Twitter account @mdbaseballnet.
