The Terps arrived at their hotel in Los Angeles Wednesday evening after a long day of cross-country travel.
They’ll have a morning lifting session before heading to the Jackie Robinson Field for a brief practice at 1 p.m. PT.
It has been officially announced that Mike Shawaryn will start game one against Ole Miss. Junior lefty Christian Trent will get the nod for the Rebels.
The Terps had to make some unexpected changes to their travel roster before heading to Los Angeles. OF Zach Jancarski and LHP Willie Rios (concussion) were unable to make the trip out west. Maryland added RHP Andrew Green to the travel roster after Green did not make the trip to Minneapolis for the Big Ten Tournament. Green has not allowed a run over four and a third innings and will be available in relief this weekend.
