Rankings Update: Week of 2/20/17

The Terrapins (1-2) entered the weekend ranked in the top-25 in three of the major polls: D1Baseball (22), Baseball America (24), and Perfect Game (23). After dropping its first two contests of the season and finishing the Clearwater Tournament with a 1-2 record, Maryland has dropped out of two of those three polls. The Terps are, however, still ranked in the Perfect Game poll, but fell from No. 23 to No. 25.

LSU, the Terps’ opponent this weekend, moved up in the D1Baseball poll from No. 12 to No. 5, held at No. 4 in the Baseball America poll, and stayed at No. 2 in the Perfect Game poll after going 3-0 this past weekend against Army.

Maryland is still the only Big Ten team to be ranked or receive votes. The various polls can be found linked below:
