About Jon: The No. 2 left-handed pitcher in Pennsylvania, Jon Dignazio was a three-year varsity letterwinner for the North Allegheny Tigers. Perfect Game ranked him as the No. 25 freshman in the Big Ten and the top freshman on Maryland’s roster for the 2017 season.  A two-way player in high school, he excelled both on the mound and in center field, and was named a 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American. Dignazio was a 4.0 student in high school and a member of the National Honor Society. At Maryland, he is majoring in Kinesiology and wants to pursue a career in physical therapy.
