About Andrew: After redshirting in 2014 and seeing limited work in 2015, Green pitched 16 innings over 12 relief appearances for the Terps last spring. The redshirt sophomore registered 13 strikeouts in 2016, including a single game career-high seven strikeouts against James Madison on April 26, pitching five innings and earning his first career win. In limited action the previous season (4.1 innings, 5 games), Green boasted a 0.00 ERA with five strikeouts, two of which came in his Maryland debut against Princeton. Prior to enrolling at Maryland, Green helped lead Blair Academy to consecutive state championships his junior and senior seasons. His 20-win senior season earned Green selections for the 2013 Rawlings Second Team Northeast All-Region and the New Jersey All-Prep team.
